Town Hall Square is known as the historic core of Victorian Leicester. My interpretation of the rebranding brief set, strived at communicating with Leicester’s residents in an honest and friendly tone, whilst maintaining a refined appearance. Revitalising Town Hall Square into a community hub, in addition to highlighting its history, are both the basis for my brand proposals.

Branding Proposal 1
Brand proposal 1 coincides beautifully with the architecturally breath-taking space. The new logo is built from paths that are created when pedestrians move around Town Hall Square. These shapes are further developed into dynamic visual assets that signify Leicester’s evolution and progression. Harnessing bold colours, the branding draws families into a bright and tranquil green space.
Branding Proposal 2
Brand proposal 2 focuses on the heart of Town Hall Square, and its most recognisable asset. The fountain, a monument of unity, captivates visitors. I used the theme of water acting as a universal language within the logo and visual assets, to communicate the square’s values. Incorporating global dialects, Town Hall Square is transformed into Leicester’s core of multiculturism.
