Known as the historic heart of Victorian Leicester, Town Hall Square has long stood isolated from the rest of the city, a place without a voice of its own. Both branding proposals strive to create a refined and contemporary identity that revitalises Town Hall Square into a vibrant, sociable, and dependable community hub.  
Breathing new life into an area anchored in heritage, the identities integrate seamlessly and Invite Leicester’s residents to reconnect with green spaces and history, where families and cultures can come together.

Branding Proposal 1
Coinciding beautifully with the architecturally breath-taking space, the identity is constructed by the paths traced by pedestrians moving across Town Hall Square. These shapes come together to form dynamic visual assets that celebrate Leicester’s evolution and forward momentum.  With a vibrant colours, the branding welcomes families into a bright green space, that balances energy and tranquility.. 
Branding Proposal 2
The iconic Town Hall Square fountain anchors the area, a timeless monument of unity that continues to capture generations of visitors across all cultures. The visual assets are inspired by water acting as a universal language and a catalyst for  moments of eating, learning, relaxing, and meeting. Incorporating global dialects, the identity celebrates Leicester's heritage evolving around the fountain and transforms the area into a vibrant core of multiculturalism.
