🏆 Awarded | Art Friends Warwickshire Bauhaus Trophy
Emulating structures found in natural environments, the Koko-Accent chair is an elegantly machined and hand-crafted, Scandinavian inspired, armchair. Featuring, hand upholstered faux-suede cushions, the Koko-Accent chair provides both function and comfort.
 Forming a part of my A-level product design project, the Koko-Accent chair was awarded the Art Friends Warwickshire Bauhaus Trophy for its ‘most promising contribution to the aesthetics of design’.
Introducing me to the specialism of graphic design, I furthered the project by producing an advertisement series, that features branding and copywriting experimentation. 
The Koko-Accent chair’s accomplished design and carpentry gave me the opportunity to exhibit my designs for the first time. In the summer of 2022, my work featured in the Warwickshire Open Studios Summer Art and Design Show at Princethorpe College. Then, in the late autumn of 2022, the chair competed in the National School's Design Prize, in addition to being exhibited at the Young Furniture Maker's Exhibition 2022, in London.
